AT THE DALLAS AUTO SHOW
To generate awareness and buzz to consumers in Dallas for Capital One’s new online tool, Auto Navigator, Capital One created a website which allows customers to easily finance and find their next car at the comfort of their own home with no hassles.
Allied Experiential created the Capital One’s Auto Navigator Garage, a highly-designed auto shop created to attract guests to demo Capital One’s latest tool: Auto Navigator. Capital One also sponsored the Dallas-Fort Worth Auto Show to reach a large target audience for car financing.
We worked with DFW Auto Show to become their lead sponsor with access to the most high-traffic location of the show floor. A highly-designed and high tech auto mechanic shop was constructed with an open floor plan and multiple activation touchpoints. The experience activated over a six day period including a VIP event, media day. Chip Foose and AJ from the hit Discovery TV show, Overhaulin’, stopped by to mingle with guests. Chip even brought one of his ultra rare cars along for guests to see up close. Consumers tested the new Capital One website in a high-tech demo area that included a unique GIF photo op with a green screen. A “Relax and Recharge” lounge was setup to keep people in the space while interacting with branded activities like phone charging stations, kids art workshop, and comfortable seating.
The event attracted over 4,000 guests to the booth footprint. The GIFs op generated 730 shareable GIFs which garnered over 764K social impressions. The event sparked a program extension, traveling to five more cities.
