WITH AMAZON TREASURE TRUCK
To promote the release of the Focus Features film, Downton Abbey, Allied Experiential designed and produced an immersive tea party at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Actors in period costumes roamed the space and engaged with guests while in character, fully transporting attendees into 1920s England. Thousands of guests and media came out to the Amazon Treasure Truck to enjoy activities such as croquet on the lawn, mixing custom tea leaf blends, arranging bouquets of flowers, posing in and sharing period photos and jitterbugging to a live swing band. Under a large canopy tent, an overflowing display of tea sandwiches, biscuits, scones, and cookies were available for attendees to enjoy. To top it all off, Allied also fabricated a Model T into a vintage version of the Amazon Treasure Truck.
The event was covered by local and national media outlets and generated enormous buzz among Downton Abbey fans across social media platforms.
