Generate awareness for Friskies’ all-new Grillers and SauceSations cat treats.
Allied Experiential created a pop-up cat-themed kitchen in New York City that offered games and prizes to generate social media and press.
The pop-up hosted a head-to-head competition between Grumpy Cat, leader of #TeamSaucy for Friskies SauceSations, and sweet Nala Cat, representing #TeamTender for Friskies Grillers. Cat-loving WWE star, Diva Natalya, joined the event to meet with guests. Fans voted for one team by posting their favorite celebrity cat’s custom hashtag.
Guests at the pop-up enjoyed a ball pit, a “Sauce Toss” game, and a double-sided Plinko game. The event partnered with Petfinder to showcase adoptable shelter cats who needed to find forever homes, giving attendees the opportunity to adopt on site. Guests at the event received Friskies Create & Taste t-shirts and branded cat food bowl giveaways.
The event garnered 200MM+ impressions and welcomed approximately 1,000 attendees with a line around the block for most of the day.
