AT SAN DIEGO COMIC CON
To create a fun and engaging sampling activation at San Diego Comic-Con that highlights Nestle/Dreyer’s new DC Superhero Ice Cream, Allied Experiential brought Nestle Dreyer’s to Comic-Con to launch and distribute samples of the new DC superhero-inspired flavors. The agency produced giant replicas of the ice cream containers to serve from.
The activation took place at The Experience at San Diego at Petco Park throughout the week of Comic-Con. Comic-Con attendees took photos in front of a branded, superhero photo wall with speech bubble props.
Over the four activation days, 17,000 scoops of ice cream were distributed to enthusiastic fans, 4,000 + branded premiums were given away and thousands of photos were shared on social media using the hashtag #superheroicecream.
